Campus Commerce Seller Agreement

This agreement is between you, as a seller on Campus Commerce, and Fresherz Tech Ltd ("Fresherz"), which runs Campus Commerce on www.fresherzjob.com. Read it before you send your shop for review. By submitting your shop for review you accept this agreement.
1. Who may sell
You must be at least 18, hold a Fresherz account in your own name, have verified your mobile number, and pass our identity check. One person, one seller account. You stay accountable for everything your shop and its members do.
Your application must give your full legal name, your shop or brand name, a government identity document we accept, your mobile number and email address, the campus you trade at, and the bKash or Nagad number you want to be paid on. Keep these details up to date. Your shop is listed under the campus you choose.
2. The sale is yours
Each sale is a contract between you and the buyer. Fresherz runs the marketplace, verifies sellers and handles complaints, but is not a party to the sale and never owns your goods. Today the buyer pays you directly at the handover, so Fresherz holds no buyer's money. Fresherz charges you the commission in clause 6.
3. Accurate and genuine listings
Describe each item truthfully: what it is, its brand and model where it has one, its condition and any fault, the price, and what is included. Photographs must be of the actual item, or clearly marked if they are not. Keep your stock up to date, and take an item down as soon as it is sold out. Everything you list must be genuine, lawfully yours to sell, safe and not past its expiry date. Counterfeit, replica and stolen goods are never allowed. A listing whose title, description, photos, price or category is changed goes back for review.
4. Banned items
Do not list anything on our banned-items list or anything you are not lawfully entitled to sell. We remove such listings and may suspend your shop without warning.
5. Honour the order
The price on your listing is the full price the buyer pays. Sell at the price on the order and charge nothing that is not on it. Confirm or decline each new order, and agree a handover time with the buyer, within 48 hours. Hand the item over within the time limits in our Delivery Terms, take advance payments only within the limit in our Purchase Terms, and return an advance in full when those terms require it. Let the buyer check the item before they pay. If you agree to send an item by courier, pack it securely; the Delivery Terms still apply.
6. Commission
Fresherz charges a commission on each order that is handed over. It is a percentage of the price the buyer paid, and it depends on the item's category:
- Laptops and desktops: 1.5% to 4%
- Mobile phones and tablets: 2.5% to 3.5%
- Home appliances and other electronics: 3% to 5%
- Health, beauty and groceries: 3% to 7%
- Fashion and clothing, shoes and bags: 7% to 8.5%
- Watches, sunglasses and jewellery: 9%
- Handmade crafts, art and creative goods: 5% to 7%
We tell you in writing the rate for each of your categories, within these ranges. There is no commission on categories not listed above until we publish a rate for them.
When charging starts. We will tell you the start date at least 14 days in advance. No commission is charged on orders handed over before that date.
Paying commission. For orders paid in cash at the handover, we send you a statement of the commission due every two weeks, and you pay it to the bKash or Nagad account on the statement within 7 days. For orders paid online (clause 7), we take the commission out of your payout.
Example. You sell an item for ৳1,000 at a 5% rate. Paid in cash at the handover: you keep ৳1,000 and owe ৳50 commission on your next statement. Paid online: commission ৳50 plus a 2% payment fee of ৳20, so we pay you ৳930.
7. Online payment and payouts
Online payment is not available yet; when it opens, we will tell you, and this clause applies from then.
- A payment fee of 1.25% to 2.25% (usually 2%) of the price is taken from each order the buyer pays online by bKash, Nagad, card or internet banking. Cash paid at the handover carries no payment fee.
- Money a buyer pays online is held by Fresherz until the handover or delivery is confirmed.
- We then pay you what is due, after commission and the payment fee, every two weeks to your bKash, Nagad or bank account.
- For courier cash-on-delivery orders, the cash collected is matched against what you owe Fresherz, and the balance is settled in the same payout.
8. Returns and complaints
Follow our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges policy. If an item is faulty, damaged, expired or not as described, replace it or refund the buyer within 5 business days of their asking, unless that policy gives the buyer longer. Answer every complaint within the time it states. If you and a buyer cannot agree, our staff decide, and their decision is final on Campus Commerce.
9. Safe handovers
Meet only in public places. Never require a private address, a payment before the meeting, or personal documents. Do not pressure a buyer.
10. Respect personal data
Use a buyer's name, number and messages only to complete their order. Do not copy, store, share or market to them. Keep the conversation on the order's messages until the handover.
11. Your own obligations
You are responsible for your own taxes, licences and registrations, and for complying with Bangladeshi law, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.
12. Reviews
Do not write, buy or arrange reviews of your own shop. You may reply once, publicly, to each review.
13. Your brand
Your shop name, logo, designs and photographs stay yours. You allow Fresherz, free of charge and without exclusivity, to show them on Campus Commerce and in our campus campaigns and social media to promote your shop and the marketplace.
14. Suspension and ending
We may hide a listing, suspend or close a shop when these terms or the law are broken, or to protect a buyer, and we will tell you why. For counterfeit goods, fraud or repeated breaches we may do so at once, and hold any money due to you until we have looked into it. You may ask us to reconsider at support@fresherzjob.com.
Either of us may end this agreement with 7 days' written notice, once your open orders are completed and any commission or payout due is settled.
15. Liability
You indemnify Fresherz against claims arising from your items or your conduct. To the extent the law allows, Fresherz is not liable for loss arising from a sale between you and a buyer.
16. Digital products
You may sell a file only if you made it or hold the right to sell it. Allowed: your own notes, slides, templates, planners, e-books you wrote, and design assets you made. Not allowed: anything on the banned items list, including copies or scans of textbooks, unreleased question papers, solved assignments or lab reports for submission, thesis writing, software keys, account sharing, other people's personal data, and any file with macros, scripts or software.
- Each time you upload a file you confirm this in a declaration, which we keep.
- Every file is checked automatically and reviewed by our staff before it is sold, whichever shop you are. A new file on a product sends it back for review.
- We may refuse a file, or take a product down within 48 hours of a report to support@fresherzjob.com. A takedown removes the product, ends every buyer's access, blocks that exact file from being sold again, and counts against your shop under our repeat-offender rules.
- After a takedown we keep the file for 30 days as evidence, and our backups may hold it for up to 45 days.
- A buyer may download a file 10 times. There are no change-of-mind refunds; if a file is broken or not as described, staff may end the buyer's access and you refund the buyer within 7 days.
- Fresherz does not handle or check the buyer's payment for a file: the buyer pays you when you meet, and the file unlocks when you enter the buyer's code.
- If you close your account, your files are deleted and your buyers lose access to them.
17. Changes and law
We may change this agreement by publishing a dated new version and telling you. A change does not apply to orders already placed. This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
